A few weeks back (yep, I'm a little slow), the ladies in my classes at the community center put together these framed names. I've taught this class a bunch of times, and it's always fun to see how everyone puts their individual spin on it.
I had some leftover Recollections paper that works so beautifully for this project. Here's Cheryl's. I really like the way she "nailed" each letter to the wallpaper with a brad.
Leah wanted to use a quote from Mother Teresa. She used rub-ons and individually rubbed each letter of the quote onto her project. She did an absolutely beautiful job. Here it is still in progress.
And, Laura, wanted to make something to honor her Texas A&M university. (Well, as a Texas UT fan, this was painful for me, but her project is beautiful.)
And mine, made a while back for my mother.
I love that Brenda choose the Outlaw papers to make a western-themed, project. She actually made three for Faith, Hope and Love.
I'm sorry I didn't get pictures of all the lady's projects. Ann made a great Christmas-themed one with the words "Let it Snow" and using the snowman image from the Cold Play stamp set as the O in Snow.
I wanted to get these pictures to you before it's too late for you to try them yourselves. Stampin' Up! published their list of stamp sets retiring at the end of this month, and the Letterpress and Headliner alphabets are on the list.
