Okay, really, I hate peas. But, did you see this card by Dawn Griffith, peas on earth? Dawn has a fabulous blog site - yes, I have blog envy. When she posted this card on her blog, here, I knew I had to try it. But, I put just a little twist to it.
I followed a tutorial, here and here, to make a microscope slide ornament, with a huge thank you to Sharon Harnist. Whoever gets this card, can untie the bow and put the ornament on the tree if they wish.
There's no stamp that says "Peas on Earth," so I used the Stampin' Up! Font "Harry Paul" and ran the designer series paper through my printer. The rest of the recipe is:

On a personal note . . . I'm always a pretty unpredictable blogger . . . . Thank you for putting up with me. Most recently my blogging has tapered off because of two things, mostly. I'm spending more time with my family with the holidays around the corner. We're making an extra effort to make it a joyous holiday, like enjoying the University of Texas Madrigal Dinners and a weekend in Salado here. The second reason my blogging is slow is because I'm really working hard on improving my health. So, that's the good news for me - I've lost 13 pounds since just before Thanksgiving and am working with a personal trainer at the gym. Workouts and making an effort to get to bed earlier has left me with less time to spend with all of you, which I do miss. Thanks for being patient. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
