Let us be grateful to people who make us happy,
they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. ~Marcel Proust
One of my favorite people in the whole word is going through a very yucky family medical crisis, so this card is in honor of her and their valiant fight against that Damn cancer (it's just not possible to say the cancer word without an appropriate adjective). If you're the praying kind, please lift up prayers for Bev, Mark and their family.
The fine print on this card - It uses Blue Sky cardstock and designer series paper; Pretty in Pink, Basic Black and Whisper White Paper; black gingham ribbon and some misc. retired Stampin' Up! ribbon; seed packet templates from Katydid Creations; Acetate (transparencies); and Sky Blue and Pretty in Pink ink. to get a more solid color and shading, I also used the Pretty in Pink Marker. Ooo, and I used the fun new bead duos on page 192 of our current catalog. Splitcoast Stampers has a great tutorial on how to make these fun Shaker cards: here. I ran the seed packet template through the printer twice, once on the Whisper White cardstock and a second time on the Sky Blue Designer Series Paper. Then I just cut the window in the Sky Blue Designer Series paper.
You can also check out the deets on this card and keep up with the latest promotions on my new website: Stampin' with LMac, but more about that later.
