Does your family have their traditional Christmas delicacies? Ours sure does. Almost as important as the stockings is our Christmas breakfast of grits quiche and hot chocolate. It just doesn't feel like Christmas without my Mom's English Toffee cookies and Mom McClain's divinity.
I made this little cookbookfor my daughter honor of those traditions and in memory of Mom McClain who loved Christmas more than anyone. Caitlin always had a special bond with Mom McClain and inherited her passion for honoring our holiday traditions.
All the ingredients to make this cookbook are Stampin' Up! except the Karen Foster mini charm (mini measuring spoons). Although I made it the same size as our On Board 5x5 Art Journal, I used the bind-it-all and our On Board Book Basics to create the book. Our Tabletop Paper Cutter is strong enough to cut the chipboard to size without any problem. I also used Archiver's watercolor paper. Although it's not as luscious as Stampin' Up!'s, it white rather than vanilla, which coordinated better. Here are the rest of the ingredients:

Ink: Staz-On Black, VersaMark
Misc: Top Note Bigz die, Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware, Write Me a Memory Journaling Font Passing Notes. 1", 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches, Curly Label Punch, Mini Library Clip, Metallic Eyelet, Silver cord, 5/8" striped grosgrain ribbon, watercolor crayons, Making Memories acrylic paint, Iridescent Ice embossing powder.
I painted some Modge Podge on the front and back covers. I found that when you paint Modge Podge over textured paper, it almost looks like leather.
